This original painting is part of the Seeweeds series which examines the relationship between overlooked plant life and humans' oblivious dependance. Using a variety of seaweed to visualise the often overlooked life that we disregard while simultaneously take comfort in. Do we even really look at the nature that we rely on so heavily for the stability of our own mental state? This work is about actually seeing. Looking closer to rediscover wonderment.
